PANORAMA PARK

Panorama Park is a mile-and-a-half linear park site with overlooks and panoramic views over the Kern River Valley. For this passive use park, Stephen Copley provided park-planning services for conceptual park studies, design development, and production of construction documents. Specifically, the park was designed to emphasize community and neighborhood involvement, and the goal was to identify and prioritize uses within the park plan, utilizing the natural topography to maximize views. This design of park uses will maximize the sense of community while emphasizing pedestrian friendliness.
